About Real Sweets

I always say- When I was seventeen I started my second business (my first involved jewelry). I made little simple molded chocolates and carried them around school to sell for loose change.

That holiday season I decided to get a bit more creative; I made beautiful chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered sandwich cookies, etc, and sold them by the basket. A few years later I was making truffles, turtles, cherry cordials, loaves of pumpkin bread- all to order.

I've always grown a few tomato plants in the summer (growing up in a condo means there isn't room for much more), but found myself fighting an urge of increasing strength to grow quality, clean food. Last year I finally moved into a house with a yard, and a garden, I grew a few cucumbers and some basil but knew I needed a better plan. So, I educated myself on what organic really means, and began searching for such ingredients.

This spring I found of organic seeds: tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkins, strawberry, rhubarb, peppers, lettuce, beans, carrots, and herbs. I've never been happier with my garden but every year means improvement so before the frost I will be building new beds to ready for next year's crops!

Our Accommodations

For dietary restrictions, allergies and preferences.

Dietary restrictions should not stop anyone from enjoying the occasional sweets and treats. I find that quality options (foods not packed with artificial sugars, flavors, dyes) are hard to come by for those that would prefer to avoid (or cannot consume) sugars and animal byproducts.

Perhaps I can change that.  There are many different products I have that are vegan/vegetarian and no sugar added and more to come!

If you have any allergies or restrictions and are looking for something specific, please send me a message.

Organic VS Home Grown Organic

Organic is an ingredient purchased with a USDA approved label.

-click here more info on the UDSA standards-

Home grown organic is an ingredient grown from organic seeds

(USDA seal on the package), here in NH.

Berries are only watered with rain water; no pesticide use.

The other fruits and vegetables are watered daily, and have been treated with a total of 2 gallons of neem oil dilution over the duration of the entire season

(about three tablespoons of concentrated oil total), on a 30’ by 30’ area.
